Traditional Tuesdays #52OMG OMFG OMFG! This is week fifty-two of this little article, and I can honestly say that I didn't think it would last this long. The night I started this feature, I was bored and just browsing around the Traditional Gallery. I was finding all kinds great artwork, that for one reason or another I couldn't/wouldn't give a DD. It could be because they had a DD recently, but mainly it was for a link to go back and see what they created next, and if they took it to the next level. Now it's more for artwork that I no longer have time to DD, I can't DD everything! I still find the article fun to do, and I'll keep doing it until it no longer is. Originally this was just a one off article because I was bored one day, and started typing in random search words. It is still fun to do though, so I think it will keep going until it no longer is.

As the old year begins to fade into the sunset, it is customary to reflect on the passing year and make plans for the upcoming one.  Some do this in the form of resolutions, some people make action plans, some people just swing into the new year the same way they swung out of the old one :) Whatever way you intend to welcome in 2013, I hope you're surrounded by love and that you do it safely!

Okay, so it's a day late. I have a great excuse though! The new "More Like This" is killing me, in a good way. I can start browsing Fractals, and a few clicks(3 hours) later I'm in Scratchboard. This isn't a bad thing at all, just not when I'm doing a feature of nontraditional work. :laughing:  It also shows that my statement, "The things that make one piece of art great applies, for the most part, to other genres. A painter can learn how light and shadow fall from photography, photo-manipulators can learn about composition from a great Manga drawing, and literature can give you the inspiration to try something new or take your work to the next step. Great selections! I particularly like the tiger. :D As for other genres/mediums, how about a (non-abstract) vector piece? Don't get me wrong, that one's neat too, but I love a 'regular' (that's the wrong word, but I'm blanking on a better one) vector. :)
