Traditional Tuesdays #52OMG OMFG OMFG! This is week fifty-two of this little article, and I can honestly say that I didn't think it would last this long. The night I started this feature, I was bored and just browsing around the Traditional Gallery. I was finding all kinds great artwork, that for one reason or another I couldn't/wouldn't give a DD. It could be because they had a DD recently, but mainly it was for a link to go back and see what they created next, and if they took it to the next level. Now it's more for artwork that I no longer have time to DD, I can't DD everything! I still find the article fun to do, and I'll keep doing it until it no longer is. The things that make one piece of art great applies, for the most part, to other genres. A painter can learn how light and shadow fall from photography, photo-manipulators can learn about composition from a great Manga drawing, and literature can give you the inspiration to try something new or take your work to the next step. You may never try all art forms you see! You can however take what you learn from them and incorporate that into your own work. It could be the difference between stagnating and that breakthrough every artist wants to find!

. This wasn't something I that had I planned on doing. Originally this was just a one off article because I was bored one day, and started typing in random search words. It is still fun to do though, so I think it will keep going until it no longer is.

I've been doing this feature for almost a year, if you count the weeks I've missed or did the Not So Traditional Tuesdays feature. It's still enjoyable to go looking for art to feature, and I hope everyone that sees it likes at least one of the featured works. Maybe it will give you some inspiration or opens your eyes to a new style or medium. My favorite gallery is Traditional>Painting>Abstract, so I try not to fill the features

with that, which I could. Because this does for me what, I hope, it does for you: it gets me to look at artwork that I might not otherwise see!
